What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites ask your browser to store. They typically include the site name and a unique value. When you return, the browser sends the cookie back so the site can recognise you.

We also use a small number of similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and pixels — under the umbrella term "cookies" in this Policy.

02

Cookies We Use

We use a minimal set of cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not sell tracking data.

Why We Use Cookies

We classify our cookies into four categories. The first three are essential to providing the Services and cannot be disabled; the rest are opt-in.

  • Essential — authentication, security, and load-balancing. Without these, the site cannot function.
  • Preferences — remember small choices you've made, like your theme or language.
  • Analytics — aggregated, IP-anonymised page views so we can see which content is useful. We do not profile you or share this data.
  • Third-party — set by services we use (Supabase, Vercel) when you interact with embedded content. These are bound by the third party's own privacy policy.
04

How to Manage Cookies

You can manage cookies in several ways:

  • In our banner — when you first visit, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored for one year.
  • Browser settings — every modern browser lets you block, delete, or allow cookies from specific sites. See your browser's help docs for instructions.
  • Private browsing — most "incognito" or "private" modes block third-party cookies by default.

Heads up: blocking essential cookies will break sign-in. You'll still be able to browse public pages, but you won't be able to access your account, submit a review, or use chats.

05

Third-Party Cookies

When you interact with embedded content (for example, a YouTube video on our Works page, or a Google sign-in button), the third-party service may set its own cookies. These are not controlled by us, and we encourage you to review their policies:

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on the website and updating the "Last updated" date below.
